Morten Grøftehauge starts in our team for AI and data analysis.

Morten has a background in biophysics and biochemistry, where he holds a Ph.D. in Structural Biology from Aarhus University. At the atomic and molecular level, there is a large amount of data available, and Morten worked with tools for pattern recognition, probability and prediction of outcomes – an area where technological advancement in these years is really gaining momentum.

It was therefore natural that Morten threw himself into Data Science at the IT University, and soon he was employed by Novozymes’ Advanced Analytics department.

Now, however, molecules are being replaced with big data on business documents and financial transactions – but the essence is the same. It’s about analyzing large amounts of data and using new technology to support and automate processes, as well as provide the best possible basis for decision making for customers.

In Tricom, Morten will work with data analysis based on, among other things, machine learning, and thereby help increase the value for our customers by focusing on smarter and more intelligent solutions and work processes. These are areas such as automatic posting of orders and invoices, automatic categorization, risk assessment, identification of potential errors/deviations and much more. These are areas of focus that are already built into Tricom’s solutions, but through increased focus on data analysis, we can provide even more opportunities and even more value for our customers.
