[intro]Under the heading “Digital solutions for everyone” the interest organization CFIR held an event in the beginning of December concerning the subject of user-friendly IT solutions for users with special needs[/intro]
In this context Financial Manager at Gentofte Municipality Jens Josephsen and Sales Manager Lars Søby from Tricom was invited to give a presentation at the event presenting the project “The cashless retirement home.”
The more than 70 participants could at the joint presentation learn more about how Gentofte Municipality has ensured employees and staff a more secure workday, and at the same time saved time and money, by providing the residents of the municipality’s largest retirement home an alternative to holding on to cash.
Currently Gentofte Municipality is looking into how the solution can be extended for the use at municipal recidences and to senior citizens in their own homes.
